If you saw only the results of the last race today at Woodbine racetrack you would figure it was an upset. If you saw the ML odds you would be scratching your head on how this race ended up the way it did with English Shirl going off at odds of 9-1. When the entries came out English Shirl was the favourite based on past performance but once the players got involved the board changed dramatically and if you had English shirl in a pick 5 or 6 you would have been laughing all the way to the cashier.
